Sarah Zitnay, Company Member

Sarah Zitnay, is originally from Easton, CT. She began her early training with Nancy Altieri and Zita Carrano and later continued her ballet studies with Lisa Denaro School of Classical Ballet and with Steven Hyde at New England Ballet School and Company. As a member of that youth company Sarah performed roles such as Clara, Dew Drop and the Sugar Plum Fairy in"The Nutcracker" as well as the Black Swan opposite Jared Matthews of ABT, among other ballets. Upon graduating high school, she continued her education at Purchase College, State University of New York in the Conservatory of Dance where she studied with the ballet, modern and composition faculty. She earned her B.F.A. in dance Cum Laude in May 2006 and now lives in Brooklyn.
