SACRED ARTS FESTIVALS

Because of the universal nature of the work created and performed by Avodah, our repertory and educational programs often work well in Sacred Arts Festivals. Some of Avodah’s repertory for these events include: “Mayim, A Ritual of Transformation,” “Praise Dance,” a piece that honors a divine source, “Blessing,” and “Light,” expressing the universality of the image of light.

***On October 6, 2006, Avodah performed at The Sacred Arts Festival in Phoenixville, PA. This festival was sponsored by the Sacred Dance Guild of Pennsylvania and included diverse forms of art including dance, crafts, music, and film. ***
